PERSONAL, SOCIAL & EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Children are given opportunities to develop a positive sense of self, forming positive relationships with others, develop social skills and learn how to manage their feelings. They understand appropriate behaviour in groups and have confidence in their own abilities.

MATHEMATICS
Children are given opportunities to develop and strengthen their skills in counting, understanding and using numbers. They calculate simple addition and subtraction problems and describe shapes, space and measure.

Topic and craft based resources offer a range of activities to support the development of counting, number recognition, sequencing, development of matching and sorting skills, and understanding of shape, space and measure.
PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT
Children are given opportunities to be active and interactive, to develop their co-ordination, control and movement. They begin to understand the importance of physical activity and to make healthy food choices.
